Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 8/4/2023 at approximately 9:00am and concluded on 8/4/2023 at approximately 10:30am. There were a total of 57 children with 10 staff members present. Children were observed cleaning up, going over days months and years, reading, and engaged in group activities and outdoor play time. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of staff files, Criminal History Fingerprint checks were not completed for all staff.

Evidence: Staff #2 was overdue to renew their Criminal History Fingerprint check.
Plan of Correction: Center will ensure that staff member has a Criminal History Fingerprint check and will keep documentation of the check.

Based on review of the facility, areas of the center were not maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.

Evidence: There was damage to the wall in the 2 years' classroom.
Plan of Correction: Center will have wall repaired.
