2
Standard 8VAC20-780-510-P
Based on review of medication, it was determined that not all medication was picked up within 14 days when the authorization for medication expires. Evidence: The medication authorization form for child A expired April 2022.
Plan of Correction: The center staff has made several attempts to obtain the missing documentation from the parent. The center staff will request and updated medication authorization from the parent.
Standard 8VAC20-780-60-A
Based on a review of five children?s records, the center did not ensure all children?s records contained the required information. Evidence: Child A?s record did not have a written care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic and the steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction.
Plan of Correction: The center will request a written allergy care plan for the child and the documentation will be placed in the child?s record.
