Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, and a virtual tour of the program.

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on 12/08/2021 and concluded on 12/09/2021. There were 5 children present with 2 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, 2 of 2 caregivers did not complete the department's health and safety update course annually as required.

Evidence:
1. The records for Caregiver #1 and #2 did not contain documentation of the annual health and safety update.
Plan of Correction: Both caregivers completed the annual health and safety update on the day of inspection.
