Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on November 18, 2024 and completed on November 18, 2024, as a part of the current licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 8:40am and ended at 9:20am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 6 children present and 3 caregivers. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 7 caregiver/household member(s) records on-site.
This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Potentially poisonous substances should be stored in areas inaccessible to children.
Mouthwash labeled, "Keep Away From Children" was on the counter in the bathroom where it was accessible to children.
Plan of Correction: Corrected while inspector present. Will continue to keep harmful substances/materials inaccessible to children.
Standard 8VAC20-800-690-D
The diapering surface should be non-absorbent and washed. Both diaper changing tables had an absorbent surface.
Plan of Correction: The diapering surface will be changed to a non-absorbent pad.
