Inspector Notes
This unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted by licensing staff to include documentation review, interviews and an in person tour of the program. The inspection was initiated on November 29, 2022 and concluded on December 1, 2022. There were 20 children present with 4 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the following areas of administration, staffing and supervision, special care and emergencies and special services. A total of 5 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Violations
4be washed with soap and running water or disposable wipes before and after eating meals
or snacks.
Evidence: In the cafeteria there were 5 children observed eating snack and they did not wash
their hands after they were finished eating. Staff #1 confirmed they did not wash their
hands after eating.
from home, the food container shall be sealed, clearly dated and labeled in a way that identifies the owner. The licensee shall have extra food or shall have provisions to obtain
food so children can have an appropriate snack or meal if they forget to bring food from
home.
Evidence: The following snack procedures were determined inadequate.
1)There were 5 children observed eating snack and 5 food containers were observed and were not dated and 3 were not labeled in a way that identifies the owner.
2) There were 20 children observed in the afterschool program and only 5 children brought snack from home. Staff #1 confirmed they ?ran out of snack on November 21, 2022 and will buy more tomorrow (November 30, 2022). Staff #1 confirmed they did not have snacks available for those children who did not have a snack on November 21, November 22, November 28 and November 29, 2022.

Evidence: In the cafeteria there were 5 children observed eating snack at the designated snack and homework tables and the tables were not sanitized after they were finished eating.
