Inspector Notes
A monitoring inspection related to Special Care Provisions and Emergencies and Special Services was initiated on February 16, 2023 and concluded on February 28, 2023. There were 25 children present, ranging in ages from 6 to age 11, with 4 staff supervising. No records we reviewed as a part of this inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and staff interviews, the licensee did not ensure that when food is brought from home, the food container shall be sealed and clearly dated and labeled in a way that identifies the owner.
Evidence: In the cafeteria there were 9 children observed eating snack and 7 did not have their food container labeled to identify the owner. (Repeat Violation)

Plan of Correction: All lunch boxes have been labeled in the inside with the child's name using label maker machine. Staff check the lunch boxes daily to ensure the names have not been removed from the lunch box.
