Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on April 19, 2023 and concluded on April 20, 2023. There were 31children present with 4 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on staff record review and staff interviews, the vendor did not ensure staff completed who work directly with children shall have completed the departments health and safety update course.
Evidence: The record for Staff #1 and Staff #4 did not include the required annual 3-hour health and safety update course. The most recent Health and Safety course available for review for Staff #1 was dated 1-20-2022 and for Staff #4 it was dated 12-6-2021.
