Inspector Notes
An unannounced Monitoring Inspection was conducted today. A total of 11 children (31 pts) with 2 staff providing supervision were present. The children were busy playing with each other and with toys and equipment. The youngest child present was in a separated area in a bouncy seat to secure safety. Some of the children were in a separate programming space with one staff engaged. The children were observed taking turns riding small push cars, playing with the kitchen set and folding laundry for dolls. Walk thru of the middle and lower level of the home was completed. No medication needs at this time and no identified food allergies. One infant requiring an infant bottle and the remainder of the children receive food from the Provider. A total of 4 children's records, all staff and household records were reviewed and found well organized and complete. Positive interaction between staff and children was observed and appropriate behavioral guidance was demonstrated. This inspection occurred between 10am and 11:30am. Violations
3Evidence:
1. Spray bottles containing cleaning agents were found on the bottom of the shower floor next to the diaper changing area in the bathroom located on the lower level of the home.
2. A cleaning agent was found in a medicine cabinet located in the bathroom on the lower level of the home that was accessible to children.
Evidence:
A basket of topical ointments were found in the bottom cabinet of the bathroom vanity located on the lower level of the home.
Evidence:
Three topical ointments had expired.
