clean, safe and operable condition.

In the Prep-B classroom there was a ceiling tile in the bathroom that was positioned in a way that was not secure, posing a safety risk.
Plan of Correction: The tile in the bathroom was angled so that three edges of the tile were positioned in the ceiling tile grid. Tile was repositioned and a picture was sent to licensing specialist as requested.
Standard 8VAC20-780-560-G
When food is brought from home, the food container shall be sealed and clearly dated and labeled in a way that identifies the owner.

There was a small bag of cheerios with no name and date in the Preschool B classroom. (Child #1)
There was a lunch bag with no name and date in the Prep-2 classroom. (Child #2)
Plan of Correction: It has been discussed with the parents that no food should be brought into the classroom without the proper documentation. The child usually eats his breakfast on the way to school and sometimes carries it into the classroom. When this happens, the teacher will dispose of the food. We have reminded all staff of our best practices regarding food and food storage.

Child with lunch bag brings food from home due to having food allergies. Reviewed proper labeling policies and procedures with parent. We have also reminded all staff of our best practices regarding food and food storage.
