Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 7/28/2022 from 9:40am-11:30am. There were 44 children supervised by 10 direct care staff. The physical plant, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play and playing outside. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Based on observation, hazardous substances such as cleaning materials were not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children and were not stored in an area physically separated from food.

Evidence: In the School Street classroom, a container of sanitizing wipes was located in an unlocked cabinet on a shelf, next to a box of fruit snacks.

Based on review and interview, the practice of the evacuation drill was not conducted on a monthly basis.
