Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, February 28, 2024. The inspector was on site from approximately 1:55 pm until 3:45 pm. There were nine children present with two caregivers supervising for a value of 21 points. Children ranged in ages from nine months to five years. Two resident children were also present. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of nine child records, one household member record, and two caregiver records were reviewed.
Upon the inspector?s arrival, children were napping. Later children played with blocks, pattern cards and blocks, and instruments. Handwashing was conducted prior to snack. The inspector interacted with the caregiver and children in care.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The vaccine record for Konahu (canine) stated the rabies vaccine expired 08/29/2023. There was no additional documentation of a current rabies vaccine.
