Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.

A monitoring inspection was initiated on January 19, 2022 and concluded on January 21, 2022. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 32 children present, ranging in ages from 3 to 4, with 5 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review and staff interviews, the licensee did not ensure to obtain an annual fire inspection report from the appropriate fire official having jurisdiction.

Evidence: The most recent fire inspection available for review was dated 10-13-2020.
Plan of Correction: Fire Inspection is to take place Feb 1, 2022 a 10:00 am.

Evidence: The most recent health inspection available for review was dated 1-23-2020.
Plan of Correction: Health inspection took place today. Jan 24.

Based on record review and staff interviews the licensee did not ensure the center shall implement a monthly practice evacuation drill.

Evidence: There was not documentation of a drill conducted August 2021.
Plan of Correction: Will make sure that a drill takes place 1st week of August 2022.
