Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 10/23/2024, as a part of the licensure period, The on-site inspection began at 2:30 pm and ended at 4:30 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 12children present and 3 staff. The inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 3 staff records on-site.
This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Areas in the building were not maintained in good condition.

There were cracks in the green wall and peeling paint on the orange wall.
Plan of Correction: We will let landlord know.
Standard 8VAC20-780-500-A
Children's hands shall be washed with soap and water before and after eating meals.
The children did not wash their hands once arriving into care from the van and sat to eat snack.
Plan of Correction: We will remind staff and children.
