Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 03/13/2023. A tour of the facility was conducted, in addition to a record review and interviews with staff. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a record review the center did not ensure a monthly practice evacuation drill was implemented.
Evidence:
The center did not have documentation of implementing a practice a fire evacuation drill in the month of April. The director confirmed that a drill had not been done that month.
Plan of Correction: The Safety captain will ensure that monthly drills are competed in a timely manner. Management will oversee the safety captain to ensure compliance. All drills going forward will be completed by the end of each month.
