Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 10/11/2023. There were 74 children present and 11 staff. A tour of the facility was conducted, in addition to a record review and interviews with staff. The Inspector reviewed 5 children?s and 2 staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation the center did not ensure all areas and equipment of the center were maintained in a safe condition.
Evidence: The large white return vent in the 2 year-old was rusted and in reach of children in care.
Plan of Correction: Maintenance replaced the vent with a new one the same day.
