During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes
An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 11/07/2024 and completed on 11/07/2024. The on-site inspection began at 10:50 am and ended at 1:25 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 79 children present and 14 staff. The inspector reviewed 7 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program
Violations
4There was no immunization documentation in the record of Child #6, who had been enrolled for over 7 months.
There was no working, battery-operated radio in either building available during the inspection.
Children, ages two and three years, were observed consuming mini corn dog nuggets for lunch. The mini corn dog nuggets contained a whole mini hot dog inside batter. These mini hot dogs are a potential choking hazard.
The record for Child #6 was missing the following required components: written care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instruction from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic and the steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction. The record for Child #6 contained documentation of a diagnosed food allergy.
