Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contact, documentation review, interview, and a virtual tour of the program.

A complaint investigation was conducted on 1/13/22 in response to an allegation that the program was being operated over capacity. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 11 children present, ranging in age from six-months to four-years-old for a total of 26 points. The provider and one assistant were present and supervising. The children were observed resting on cots. The inspector requested to view the current attendance, the attendance for the previous month, other documentation, and the provider was interviewed. There was insufficient evidence to support the allegation of operating over capacity. One violation that was not part of the complaint was cited during the investigation.

If you have questions regarding this inspection you may contact the Licensing Inspector, Laura Brindle, at laura.brindle@doe.virginia.gov or 540-905-2062.
