Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 4/26/23 from 9:41 a.m. to 10:37 a.m. with the provider and one assistant. There were eight children in care, ranging in age from 11-months to four-years-old, for a total of 23 points. Children were observed coloring and dancing to music. Two child records, the provider?s record, one staff record, one household member record, and two pet records were reviewed. The provider and assistant have current certification in CPR and First Aid. The provider reported that no medications were onsite for children. The first aid kit, flashlight, weather band radio, and fire extinguisher were observed. The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were also reviewed. Based on review of one household member record, the provider did not obtain documentation of the results of a search of the central registry for one household member within 30 days of turning 14-years-old. Evidence: There was no documentation of central registry results on record for Household Member #1, with a date of birth of 2-22-09.
