Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 10/18/2022 between the hours of approximately 8:45 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. There were 10 children present with the Provider and 1 assistant for a total of 26 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing with blocks, working on letter recognition and participating in free play. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on record review, emergency evacuation procedures were not practiced monthly.

Evidence: An emergency evacuation procedure was not practiced in September of 2022.
Plan of Correction: I will do them every month.

Based on observation and record review, a menu for the current one-week period was not given to parents, posted or placed in an area accessible to parents when meals or snacks were provided by the family day home.

Evidence: The menu for the current one-week menu was not posted. The most recent menu was dated 09/07/2022.
Plan of Correction: I will post the menu going forward.
