Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 8/1/2022 from 10:00am-12:30pm. There were 5 children (12 points) supervised by 2 direct caregivers. The home, 2 staff records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed engaging freely. Based on record review and interview, the provider did not ensure caregivers working directly with children obtain a minimum of sixteen clock hours of training annually.

Based on observation, furnishings inside of the family day home were not maintained in a safe condition.
