Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 8/1/2022 from 10:00am-12:30pm. There were 5 children (12 points) supervised by 2 direct caregivers. The home, 2 staff records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed engaging freely. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Violations
6Evidence:
1. The record for caregiver #1 did not contain documentation of the 16 hours of required
annual training for the 2021-2022 year.
Evidence: In a room utilized by children, an arm of a sofa was torn, exposing the padding, and wood underneath.
Evidence: A toaster and coffee machine was plugged in and unattended in the kitchen area.
Evidence: A pressure mounted gate was used as a protective barrier for a set of stairs located near the kitchen area.
Evidence:
1. Child #2 had missing telephone numbers of two designated persons to contact in case of an emergency if the parent cannot be reached.
2. Child # 2 and Child #3 were missing names of persons other than the custodial parents who are authorized to pick up the child.
