Inspector Notes

An announced renewal inspection was conducted on 10/26/2021. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the inspector was not site This inspection was conducted via video application as well as email and phone correspondence. There were 9 children directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, staff records, children?s records, and household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and interacting with staff. There was an adequate supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Violations are indicated in the violation notice.

Based on review of required documentation it was determined that a current CPR certification was not maintained for provider.

Evidence: During inspection provider's CPR certification was expired.
Plan of Correction: I am in the process of scheduling a class.

Based on Review of required documentation it was determined that a current First Aid certification was not maintained for provider.

Evidence: During inspection provider's First Aid certification was expired.
Plan of Correction: I am in the process of scheduling a class.
Standard 22VAC40-111-180-A
Based on Review of required documentation it was determined subsequent tuberculosis (TB) screenings were not maintained for caregivers and household members.

Evidence: During inspection the TB screenings for Caregiver 1 and Household member 1 were out of date.
Plan of Correction: We will get them done.
