Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on July 24, 2024, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 9:50am and ended at 11:25am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 11 children present and 4 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 4 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the home, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and interview, the provider did not ensure topical skin products such as diaper ointment were labeled with the child?s name.
Evidence:
A jar of petroleum jelly located on the shelf above the diaper changing area, and diaper cream inside the cabinet was not labeled with the child?s name

Evidence:
There was a bottle of Nivea Moisturizer lotion located on the sink in the children?s bathroom, accessible to children.
