Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection occurred 3/27/24, approximately 9:40am-11am. There were a total of 11children (30 points) observed with 2 caregivers present. The children were engaged in the following: toy play, coloring, bottle feedings and napping. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel and household members, physical environment, care of children, handwashing, diapering, emergencies and nutrition. No medications on site. A total of 4 child records, 3 caregiver and 1 household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation and interview, the provider did not document a review of the emergency plan at least annually.
Evidence: Date of emergency plan 7/2022, no annual review documented.
Plan of Correction: Provider will review emergency preparedness plan and document annually.

Based on observation, refrigerated bottles were not labeled with the date, with more than one infant is in care.
Evidence: Three infant bottles in the refrigerator were not dated.
Plan of Correction: Provider will label bottles with date and child's name.
