Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:45am-11:49am with the provider on site. There were 8 children with 2 caregivers. A sample of 2 children's files and 3 caregivers/household member's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: toy play, coloring and circle time. Interactions between the children and caregivers were positive. The site was clean. The physical space, attendance records, first aid kit, drill record and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. There were no medications on site. 1. Substitute #1 (Approximate start date 7/2022) did not have the central registry findings in the file. The provider stated the Substitute had started in July 2022 and had sent the request for the results, but it was sent back incomplete.

1. Substitute #1's file did not have the employment date, job title, two references and age verification. The provider stated she started in July 2022.
Evidence:
1. In the restroom the children use, a cleaning product, glade spray and toilet cleaner was on the floor in the bathroom.
irons, toasters, blenders, can openers, and irons were not unplugged when not in use by
the caregiver.

1. The toaster in the kitchen was not being used and remained plugged into the outlet.
