Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was initiated on 10/18/2023 and concluded on 10/18/2023. There were five children present with one provider and one assistant supervising. The point total was 18. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and two staff records and three household members were reviewed. The inspection started at 9:45 am and concluded at 11:50 am.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and interviews the provider failed to ensure that cribs shall be provided for children from birth through 12 months of age and for children over 12 months of age who are not developmentally ready to sleep on a cot, rest mat, or bed.
Evidence:
The provider has a six and eight month old in care and there are no cribs provided during the inspection.
Plan of Correction: The provider has two cribs in storage. These cribs will be put in the day care area for the infants to use.
