Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was completed 12/12/2023 from approximately 10:15 a.m. ? 4:25 p.m. There were 44 children present and 9 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and training, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programs, medication, special care provisions and emergencies, and special services (nutrition and food services). A total of 7 child records and 10 staff records were reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined violations with applicable standards or law. Please sign the inspection and complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation cited on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days from today. Your plan of correction should contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s), 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventive measure(s). Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure there shall be at least 12 inches of space between occupied cots, beds, and rest mats.
Evidence:
Occupied cots were observed in the Toddle 1 classroom that were not 12 inches apart.

Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure that children in the Preschool 1
classroom had cots with linens consisting of a top over and a bottom cover.
Evidence:
Two cots used by children during the rest period did not have a top covering.
