Inspector Notes
An unannounced Monitoring inspection was conducted today. A total of 11 children (19pts) with 4 staff were onsite today. The children had just completed a fingerpainting activity and were washing their hands. They transitioned to the second programming room and had free play with toys and play equipment. Artwork completed by the children was on display such as paper plate flowers with beans and rainbows made out of tissue paper and cotton balls. Two medications were onsite. Authorizations were in place and the medication was locked. Observation of the crib room, bathroom, outdoor play area and both programming rooms was made. A total of six cribs and six cots were onsite. Diapering and handwashing procedures along with sanitizing procedures were observed during the inspection. Newly installed fencing and gates leading to the play area in the backyard was also observed. This inspection occurred between 10am and 11:30am.
