Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on June 9 2023 between 11:45am and 12:45pm. There were 7 children (21 points) in the direct care of 1 caregiver. A second caregiver arrived at approximately 12:20pm. Children were observed napping throughout the inspection. A review of caregiver and child records was conducted. The emergency kits, attendance record, evacuation drills, flashlight, weather radio, and they physical space of the family day home was observed and inspected. Violations
3Evidence: Caregiver #1 record contained documentation of a Tuberculosis screening dated November 19 2020.
Evidence: Outside in the play area, A wooden playhouse was not observed to be sturdy. With minimal force the structure would move. The play structure was also observed to have jagged wooden edges, and loose interior boards.
Evidence: During the inspection Caregiver #2 was alone with 7 children (21 points) for approximately 35 minutes. Caregiver #1 arrived at 12:20 pm. Children were observed napping during this time frame.
