Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 7-8-22 from 10:40 am to 11:50 am. There were 9 children (22 points) present, with 2 staff supervising. The children were observed playing with toys, washing hands before lunch and eating lunch. The lunch menu included meatballs with pasta, red beans, mixed veggies, strawberries and milk. 2 children's records, 2 staff records and 1 household member record was reviewed. Emergency supplies and drill records were also reviewed. A discussion was held with the provider about staying current on infant equipment that cannot be used for sleeping infants.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. For any questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at mahrukh.aziz@doe.virginia.gov or 571-835-4718.
