Inspector Notes
An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was conducted on 10/18/24 from 11:15 am to 11:50 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 9 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 24. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 2 caregiver records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the family day home and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Violations
1Safety straps for high chairs shall be used and securely fastened when occupied by children.
Three children seated in the high chair table were not secured by safety straps. Two of the three children were observed trying to get out of their seats.
