Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 8/2/2022 and concluded on 8/2/2022. There were a total of 33 children with 5 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time and outdoor play time. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Reviewed fire drills, fire and health inspections. Carbon monoxide detector in place. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on a review of children medications, the center is not following their procedures for administering medication to include methods to prevent use of outdated medications.
Evidence: Child #1's emergency medication expired 6/2022.
Plan of Correction: Administration will ask the parents today to bring in medication that is not expired.
