Inspector Notes
An unannounced inspection was conducted on 6/23/2022.
Inspection began, 9:40 am and ended 11:55 am.
There were nine children in care totaling 16 points with two caregivers.
Upon arrival the children were sitting in the living room on the floor. One child was doing school ready activities. The children then played with the available toys. They went outside and played on the outdoor pay equipment.
Five children, three staff and one household member records were reviewed.

Evidence:
Upon arrival to the family day home at 9:40 am, in the yard next to the porch, was wading pool with water. Interviews reveled that the children used the wading pool the previous day and the water was being drained the next day.
Will make sure the wading pool is emptied the day it is used.
Evidence:
Located on a shelf beside the bathtub was a bottle and a tube of Calamine lotion and Whip It stain remover, not locked. This was accessible to the children.

Located in the living room is a work out trampoline. Staff stated that the children use this trampoline.
Evidence:
The only fire drill practiced and documented for 2022 was conducted in January.
Will also ensure that all emergency drills are conducted according to the standards.
