Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a tour of the program.

A renewal inspection was initiated on February 16, 2022 and concluded on February 18, 2022. There were twelve children present with two staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two child records and two staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review, facility did not ensure 1 of 2 staff has required background check completed within 30 days of beginning employment.

Evidence: The record for staff #1 (start date 11/8/2021) did not have documentation of a completed central registry search.
Plan of Correction: Area Manager contacted the central registry unit to inquire about the central registry search and no records were found. A new central registry search was completed and mailed.
