Inspector Notes
A monitoring inspection was conducted today, May 1, 2023. The inspector was on site from approximately 9:00 am until 11:45 am. The director was present and assisted in the inspection. There were 16 children present, ranging in ages from seven months to five years, with three staff Supervising. Children were observed in a variety of activities including a game of hot potato, playing with puzzles, playdough, and art with stamps. Later children had their lunch and prepared for nap. Handwashing was conducted and tables cleaned. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and four staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Upon the inspector?s arrival, There were 11 children (ages two years-five years) being supervised by one staff member. The required staff-to-children ratio is applied to the youngest child in the group and is applicable to the entire group.
