Inspector Notes

Conducted an unannounced renewal inspection at 4:00pm. Observed 31 children + 2 direct-care staff. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed arriving and departing for the day, washing hands, eating snack, playing with toys, making a craft project, and going outside for active play. Staff were actively engaged with the children and activities. The program rooms were found to be clean and well supplied toys and equipment for the children. An area of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed was found. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@doe.virginia.gov
