Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-11:20am with the provider on site. There was 1 child with 1 caregiver. A sample of 1 child's file and 10 caregivers/household member's files were reviewed. The child was engaged in the following: toy play, drinking a bottle, listening to the provider read a book, handwashing and a diaper change. Interactions between the child and caregiver were positive. The site was clean, organized and contained an abundant supply of developmentally appropriate materials. The physical space, first aid kit, drill record and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. There were no medications on site. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Please contact me if you have any questions at Stacy.Doyle@doe.virginia.gov or 571-835-0386.
