Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 1/18/2024. 43 children were directly supervised by 9 staff. The physical space, 4 children's records, 4 staff records, attendance records, evacuation drills and required posted documents were reviewed. Medications were in compliance. Children were observed during lunch, washing hands, engaging in age-appropriate materials and interacting with the staff. Interactions were positive. Developmentally appropriate materials were available in all classrooms. Bottles and cribs were also in compliance. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Based on observation, and interview with the Director, areas outside of the center were not maintained in a safe and operable condition. Evidence: The red fence, to the right of the school, enclosing the play area out back, is leaning away from the school. The fence is leaning at approximately a 45 degree angle and has become detached from another panel.
Plan of Correction: We are aware of the issue, have contacted our insurance company and it will be repaired as soon as possible.
