Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 5/17/22. There were 6 children (13 points) directly supervised by 1 caregiver. The home, the provider's records, 3 children's medications and records, 2 household member's records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing freely inside the play room and practicing letters and numbers. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Based on observation, the provider did not ensure that potentially poisonous substances, materials and supplies were kept in areas inaccessible to children.
Evidence: observed a bottle of Lysol disinfectant spray accessible to children on the back of the toilet, and an unlocked lower bathroom cabinet with Lysol spray, liquid bleach, and detergent accessible to children.
