Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 1/30/2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 54 children were present with 11 caregivers. The children were engaged in the following: completing puzzles, coloring, practicing writing, playing with blocks, building a Mr. Potato Head, tracing stencils, and sorting by color. Programming, menus, emergency procedures, and 5 children?s records and 5 staff records were reviewed. There were reportedly no medications on site.

A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Please complete the columns for "Plan of Correction" and "Date to be Corrected" for each violation cited on the Violation Notice, and then return a signed and dated copy to the licensing office by 5pm on 2/8/2023. Please email me at morgan.bryson@doe.virginia.gov with any questions.
