Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 4/4/2023 from 8:46 am-10:00 am. There were 9 children (26 points) directly supervised by 4 caregivers. The home, 4 caregiver records, 5 children?s records, 1 household member record, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed participating in circle time and eating breakfast. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Based on record review and interview, the family day home did not obtain the results of an out-of-state central registry check for all states caregivers have resided in within the previous five years.

Evidence: Caregiver #4's record did not contain a central registry check results from a state they have listed as residing in within the previous five years.
Plan of Correction: I will take care of the background check by the end of the month.
