Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was initiated on 7/11/24 and concluded on 7/11/24. There were 33 children present with 11 staff supervising and two office staff. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of six child records and four staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 9:40 am and concluded at 12:00 pm.

The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.

Based on observation the center failed to ensure the a nonabsorbent surface for diapering or changing shall be used.
Evidence:
The diaper changing pad in the infant/toddler area has rips and tears causing the surface to be absorbent.
Plan of Correction: A new changing pad was ordered during the inspection. The director will tape the torn areas on the current changing pad, until the new one arrives.
