Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on June 14, 2024 from 10:40 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. There were 12 children present with 3 caregiver supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Each caregiver shall have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care. Caregiver 3 did not have CPR certification.
Plan of Correction: Each caregiver shall have first aid and CPR certification.

Caregivers who work directly with children shall annually attend Department's health and safety update course. Three caregivers did not have documentation of the Department's health and safety update course on file.
