A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

The vendor is required to maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that
documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
The vendor's attendance sheet on the date of the inspection listed 12 children. 2 of the children listed on the attendance sheet were not actually present. There was a total of 15 children in attendance, which means a total of 5 children who were present were not listed on the attendance sheet for the day. The children's attendance is not being marked as they arrive with the arrival time.
