For each group of children, the vendor shall maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. There were 62 children present and only 47 were checked in on the attendance app and paper attendance sheets.
Plan of Correction: The administrator corrected the attendance while the inspectors were on site. Per the administrator: Will make sure parents understand the safety in signing in.
Standard 8VAC20-790-730-F
Cots, rest mats, or beds shall be provided for children 12 months of age or older and shall not be occupied by more than one child at a time. Child #2, age three years, was observed sleeping in a highchair. Staff #3 stated this is a regular occurrence as child #2 likes to sleep in the highchair during nap time.
Plan of Correction: Per administration: Will ask for a doctors documentation for special needs child sleep habits.

When a child is placed in an infant seat, high chair, or feeding table, the protective belt shall be fastened securely. In classroom #1, child #3 was observed in a highchair with an unfastened protective belt.
