Inspector Notes

A mandated monitoring inspection was conducted on May 29, 2024 from approximately 12:10pm to 1:15pm. There were 8 children in care with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Children were observed eating lunch, handwashing, playing, and preparing for naptime. A total of 4 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a review of staff records, a new staff member did not have a central registry search completed within 30 days of employment.

Evidence: Staff 3 did not have a completed central registry search on file. The home has documentation that it was mailed November 2023, but follow ups were not documented and the background search remains incomplete.
Plan of Correction: Provider will follow up with Central Registry for background check results.
