22.1 EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION

Inspector Notes

An on-site monitoring inspection was conducted on May 19, 2022 and concluded on May 19, 2022. The licensing inspector was onsite from approximately 10:15 am until 12:10pm. The director assisted with the inspection. There were eight children present, ranging in ages from four years to five years, with two staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two child records and one staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and interview, the center was not equipped with a carbon monoxide detector.

Evidence:

There was no carbon monoxide detector at the center. The director confirmed a carbon monoxide detector had not been installed.
Plan of Correction: Per the director: I will order a carbon monoxide detector today and install it in the center.
