Inspector Notes
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An unannounced renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on 3/16/2021, approximately from 1:07 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.. There was 44 children supervised by 11 direct care staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection.
The physical plant, 4 staff records, 7 children?s records, children activities, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills were inspected. During the inspection, children were observed resting at naptime, outdoor play and individual activities. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
