Inspector Notes
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on May 4, 2022 and concluded on May 5, 2022. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 99 children present, ranging in ages from 6 weeks to age 5, with 17 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
The inspection was amended on August 1, 2022.
Violations
4Evidence: The center curriculum coordinator confirmed they did not have a carbon monoxide detector.
Evidence: In the infant room, Staff #1 was observed changing the diaper for child #4 . Immediately after the diaper was change, Staff #1 took a baby wipe and wiped the face (around the mouth and nose) of child #4 and did not wash their hands after the diaper change and before they wiped child #'4 face. The hands of child #4 were not washed after diapering.
Evidence: During the inspection, there was only one staff, Staff #2 in Room # 104 with 6 two old's. Staff #2 had not obtained certification in CPR.
