Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was started in the center on May 28, 2024 from 1:55 PM until 5:50 PM and concluded on May 29, 2024. At the time of entrance, 107 children were in care with 12 staff members. The sample size consisted of 10 children?s records and 10 staff records. Children were observed playing outside, playing in centers to include puzzles, coloring and dancing games.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation and staff interviews, the licensee did not ensure areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition

Evidence: The outside edges of the poured in place playground surfacing around the toddler playground and around the preschool playground is no longer secured to the ground and creating a tripping hazard.

Based on observation and staff interviews, the licensee did not ensure each restroom area provided for children shall have sinks located near the toilets and that are supplied with running warm water that does not exceed 120?F
