Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 1030am-11:35am. There were 9 children directly supervised by 3 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 2 new children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely outside, book time, and preparing for lunch. Hand washing was also observed. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on record review of children's files, it was determined the Provider did not provide parents two written pats of the program.
Evidence:
1. Files for Child 1 and 2 were reviewed and were missing if there is an amount of time that an assistant or sub is present for the Provider and the Provider's policy about when or what could require termination from the program..
Plan of Correction: Did not realize I did not have that included but will add if any changes to termination should be included. I will also give names of possible substitutes.
